Qatar congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

I am honored to extend to the office of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, may God protect and preserve him, and to the wise government of Kuwait, and to the brotherly Kuwaiti people, my sincerest congratulations and blessings on this occasion, praying to God Almighty to bless this honorable nation.

I wish His Highness good health, wellness and happiness, and we wish the sister State of Kuwait more progress, prosperity, development and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness.

It also gives me great pleasure to remember, on these two happy occasions, the sacrifices made by our fathers and grandfathers for the sake of building, uplifting and progressing dear Kuwait, whose loyal sons gave their precious lives for the sake of liberating their homeland. We also remember with all pride and honor the honorable role of the Qatari forces that participated in the battle for the liberation of Kuwait and to ensure it remained a symbol of Gulf cohesion.

I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the depth and strength of the close fraternal relations and historical ties that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples, and the high level reached by the relations of cooperation and coordination between them, and the keenness of the State of Qatar, Emir, government and people, to develop and strengthen these relations in all fields in light of the wise leaderships of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar (may God protect and preserve him) and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, for the good, progress and prosperity of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
