Russian President Vladimir Putin voiced serious concern on Friday about the escalating global tensions, warning that the world may be heading toward a third world war.
“It’s worrying,” Putin said in response to a journalist’s question on the matter.
“I’m not saying this with any irony or as a joke. The potential for such a conflict is very real, and it’s increasing. We are witnessing it unfold before our eyes, and it is directly impacting us,” reports Al-Rai daily.
