The General Secretariat of the Private Universities Council has announced the launch of the internal scholarship plan for the academic year 2025/2026. Registration for high school graduates will open on Monday, August 4, 2025, and continue until Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Applications must be submitted through the official website of the General Secretariat of the Private Universities Council.
The Secretariat stated that students can explore accredited programs and majors offered by private universities and colleges, as well as view the minimum admission percentages required for each program. This information will be available on the Secretariat’s website and official social media channels.
Regarding admission criteria, the Secretariat explained the method for calculating the equivalent grade point average (GPA) as follows:
- 65% from the high school certificate
- 20% from the mathematics test
- 15% from the English language test
Applications for internal scholarships in engineering programs will be evaluated based on the student’s high school GPA. However, admission to engineering programs will depend on the calculated equivalent GPA in addition to the result of the Unified National Test.
