Public Services committee reviews vital projects, stresses unified efforts and faster implementation

The discussions covered key short- and long-term implementation plans presented by the relevant government agencies, along with various technical and service-related aspects.

Minister of Public Works and Chairperson of the government’s Public Services Committee, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, said the committee reviewed on Sunday the latest procedural updates on several vital national projects.

In a statement to KUNA following the meeting held at the Seif Palace, Dr Al-Mashaan emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and strengthening coordination among government institutions to implement the directives of the political leadership, enhance the efficiency of government work, and accelerate execution of the project.

She noted that the committee holds weekly meetings to follow up on the measures taken by government agencies in technical and service-oriented projects, while also reviewing proposals and recommendations aimed at improving outcomes.

Dr Al-Mashaan added that the meeting included presentations of practical ideas and initiatives designed to enhance inter-agency coordination on development projects and environmental issues, ultimately improving the public services system and the quality of state-implemented projects.

The committee is comprised of Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Al-Mishari, and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem.
