Public Authority for Industry shuts down 13 industrial plots citing violations

The Public Authority for Industry has ordered the closure and imposed penalties on 13 industrial plots due to several violations.
These include building without permits, extending constructions beyond plot boundaries, encroaching on state property, providing unlicensed workers’ housing, and carrying out activities without proper licenses, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Authority stressed that the owners of these plots must do good on all violations within one month. If the violations are not corrected in this period, harsher penalties will be applied.
This step is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to ensure that industrial activities comply with legal and safety standards and to protect public property.
