Public Authority for Industry closes 13 industrial plots, fines 10 companies

The Public Authority for Industry has published 23 decisions in the Official Gazette (Kuwait Alyawm), concerning industrial violations.
The decisions include the closure of 13 industrial plots and the imposition of administrative penalties on 10 companies for committing violations such as constructing buildings without permits and encroaching beyond plot boundaries.
The closure orders specify that if the violations are not corrected within a month, stricter penalties will be enforced. Similarly, the companies fined must rectify the specified violations within one month, or face more severe sanctions, reports Al-Jarida daily.
