
According to real estate statistics a total of 1,913 private housing transactions were recorded in Kuwait over the past six months. These deals accounted for approximately 70 percent of all real estate transactions concluded during the same period across all sectors.
Among the top transactions was the sale of a property in Abdullah Al-Salem suburb for 2.85 million dinars. The house covered an area of 1,000 square meters. Another property in Al-Nahda, also 1,000 square meters, was sold for 2.65 million dinars,reports Al-Rai daily.
Deals valued at one million dinars formed the largest share of private residential sales, totaling nine. Hawalli Governorate recorded four of these deals, while the Capital Governorate followed with three, including two houses in Al-Nuzha and one in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh with an area of 747 square meters.
In Al-Siddiq area, four deals worth 2.1 million dinars were concluded for three plots of land, each measuring 400 square meters, and one house in Adailiya with an area of 975 square meters.
Additional transactions ranged between 1.25 million dinars and 1.6 million dinars and included both plots of land and full-share houses across several areas. Notably, a house in Rawda with an area of 1,000 square meters sold for 1.6 million dinars.
Between July 1 and 3, 64 real estate contracts were registered across Kuwait, with a combined value of 51.6 million dinars. Of these, 43 contracts were for private residential properties, totaling 14.8 million dinars, making this the most active category. Investment housing came next with 20 properties traded for a total of 35.8 million dinars. One transaction was recorded on the coastal strip, valued at 1 million dinars.
The breakdown of transactions by governorate showed that the Capital Governorate witnessed the sale of 11 private properties and three investment properties. In Hawalli, eight private properties and five investment properties were sold, along with one coastal strip property.
In Farwaniya Governorate, three private and three investment properties were traded. Mubarak Al-Kabeer recorded one private and one investment deal. Ahmadi Governorate saw the highest number, with 15 private and eight investment property transactions. Meanwhile, real estate activity in Jahra Governorate was limited to five private housing deals.
