Prime Minister represents His Highness the Amir at Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit

Representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah arrived in Egypt on Monday at the head of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.

Upon arrival, His Highness and his accompanying delegation were received by Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, along with Kuwait’s Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanem Al-Ghanim, and members of the Kuwaiti Embassy.

In a press statement, His Highness the Prime Minister underscored the significance of the summit in ensuring the implementation of steps necessary to end the war in the Gaza Strip and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people.

He commended the relentless regional and international efforts by friendly and brotherly nations that led to the ceasefire agreement, expressing hope that the summit would open the path to a political process capable of achieving a comprehensive and just peace, reports Al-Rai daily.

Reaffirming Kuwait’s steadfast support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, His Highness stressed that achieving a just and lasting peace requires sincere political will, constructive dialogue, and mutual respect among all parties involved.
