Filipino cancer survivors and patients gathered on Friday morning at I and G Restaurant in Little Manila, Salmiya, to celebrate the end of another victorious year and to embrace 2025 with hope and strength for both survivors and current patients.

The remarkable event kicked off with a powerful dance entrance by the members, followed by fun activities hosted by Cesar of I and G Restaurant. The opening prayer was led by Suzette Aguilar, and welcome remarks were delivered by the group’s president, Marcelino Mallari.

Members and officers of the group were introduced, followed by an inspirational song from cancer fighters and survivors, and a brief message from breast cancer patient Irene Imelda Tayamen.

Intermission numbers themed “Second Chance” by Carol and Nancy, fun games, and the distribution of prizes by Andrea Dabu and Michelle Manzano were among the highlights of the event. Lunch followed, and the event concluded with closing remarks by Roselle Magno. The group extends its gratitude to all the generous donors and sponsors for their support of the event.
