The Embassy of Peru in Kuwait, in collaboration with the National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters of Kuwait and Sadu House, will host a workshop on weaving and dyeing Peruvian textiles from July 7 to 11.
The workshop is the first activity organized within the framework of the Cultural Agreement signed between Peru and Kuwait in November 2023.
With the collaboration of the Tourism Management Office of the Regional Government of Cusco, Peruvian master weavers Martina Quispe and Guillermina Mamani will visit Kuwait to share ancestral techniques of weaving and dyeing alpaca wool for the production of traditional textiles.
The Embassy of Peru in Kuwait invites the general public to visit the exhibition of Peruvian textiles from the Cusco region, which will be available to all interested parties at Sadu House.
