The Public Authority for the Disabled is offering hope and opportunity to people with disabilities in Kuwait.

This initiative, now in its sixth edition, aims to provide 200 job opportunities for individuals with disabilities, reports Al-Anba newspaper.

Registration for the training program opened on the 8th of this month and will continue until August 29th. The program itself spans 9 months and focuses on customer service skills.

Individuals with educational, hearing, visual, motor, and simple mental disabilities are all eligible to participate.

Following successful completion of the program, trainees will receive accredited certificates that qualify them for employment in various sectors.

Mubarak Al-Badah emphasized the Public Authority for the Disabled’s unwavering commitment to implementing the legally mandated 4% employment quota for people with disabilities. They achieve this by collaborating closely with government entities, private companies, and even the oil sector.

The ‘Partners for Employment’ program strives to ensure equal rights and benefits for participants, ultimately aiming for their full integration into Kuwaiti society.

It has established cooperation protocols with various sectors, including banking, cooperatives, and private enterprises. These partnerships facilitate valuable field training opportunities for program participants, further increasing their chances of securing meaningful employment.
