PACI warns ‘My Identity’ users against approving unverified authentication requests
The Public Authority for Civil Information has urged users of the “My Identity” application to refrain from approving any authentication requests unless they originate from an actual action taken by the user.
The authority emphasized the importance of carefully checking the service provider’s details and confirming the purpose of the authentication before granting approval, in order to protect personal information and ensure safe, secure use of the application, Al-Rai daily reports.
