PACI launches photo update service via ‘Sahel’ App to streamline ID procedures
Kuwait citizens and residents can now add or update Civil ID photos online
The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has launched a new electronic service enabling citizens and residents in Kuwait to add or update their personal photos through the “Sahel” government application.
The initiative is part of PACI’s ongoing digital transformation strategy aimed at streamlining procedures and expediting civil ID-related transactions.
With this new service, users can now submit photo update requests entirely online — eliminating the need for in-person visits to government offices.
According to PACI, the process is simple and consists of the following steps:
- Log into the “Sahl” app and navigate to “Individual Services.”
- Select the option to add or update a personal photo.
- Upload the required documents, including a new personal photo and a copy of the civil ID.
- Submit the request and obtain the application number for tracking.
PACI clarified that all submitted applications will undergo review and verification. Applicants will receive a notification once their request has been processed.
