PAAET wins seventh edition of open championship debate

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training emerged victorious in the seventh edition of the open championship for debates in higher education institutions in the Arabic language.

The final round was held at Kuwait Technical College, which was attended by professors and officials from several higher education institutions in Kuwait.

PAAET under the guidance of team leader Dr. Rasha Ashkanani, won the championship by outperforming 22 other competing teams.

Two teams from the Kuwait University clinched the second third positions and qualified to participate in the World Championship scheduled for May 2024 in Qatar.

Notably, the university team produced the two best speakers in the tournament — Nour Al-Salwadi and Yasmine Al-Azmi from the College of Medicine.
