Overload causes power outages in agricultural, industrial, residential areas

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has announced temporary power outages across several regions of Kuwait, citing high electrical loads and ongoing maintenance work.
In a statement released today, the Ministry confirmed that power supply has been interrupted in the agricultural areas of Wafra, Rawdatayn, and Abdali farms, as well as in industrial zones such as Mina Abdullah, Subhan, Sulaibiya, Al-Rai, and Shuwaikh, reports Al-Rai daily.
Additionally, residential neighborhoods including Al-Salam, Abu Futaira, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Jaber Al-Ahmad, and Rawda are also experiencing outages.
The Ministry had earlier indicated that such disruptions might be necessary due to increased strain on the electrical grid caused by rising consumption during peak hours and essential maintenance operations.
