Over 4.3 million transactions processed via ‘Sahel’ in October, shared “Kazim”
The official spokesman for the unified government application for electronic services “Sahel”, Yousef Kazim, announced the completion of 4 million and 378 thousand electronic transactions and services, through the application, during last October.
Kazim said on Friday, that the “Sahel” application is witnessing a remarkable qualitative development in the mechanism for implementing government transactions. Thanks to the growing number of services completed through it, especially after the launch of the English version of the application, which was done at the beginning of last October.
Further to this, Kazim explained that last month witnessed the addition of 12 new electronic services, while the number of new users who downloaded the “Sahel” application via various smart device systems, reached about 78 thousand, of whom the percentage of residents was about, 93 percent.
Importantly, Kazim stated that the most prominent services that witnessed a great demand for completion through the “Sahel” application during last October were; issuing a criminal record certificate, from the Ministry of Interior followed by; issuing a registered certificate, from the General Organization for Social Insurance and; issuing a nationality certificate, from the Ministry of Interior.
Assuring further, Kazim stressed about the commitment of the “Sahel” application team to continue working on improving and expanding the application’s services, in an effort to provide a distinguished and smooth experience for users in Kuwait, which is in line with the state’s vision for ‘digital transformation and facilitating citizens and residents’ access to government services’.
