Over 160 activities rolled out for Kuwaiti youth this summer

The Public Authority for Youth has announced an extensive summer program for youth, featuring over 160 activities across 11 centers.

The Public Authority for Youth has unveiled an expansive summer program targeting Kuwaiti youth.

This initiative aims to engage young people through a diverse range of activities, including sports, arts, crafts, and leadership development.

The program is set to span across 11 youth centers and academies situated in all six governorates of Kuwait, reports Al-Jarida newspaper.

From its commencement today, the program will continue until mid-September, offering over 160 activities for participants to choose from.

Walid Al-Ansari, the acting deputy director-general for the youth sector at the authority, provided insights into the program.

He emphasized that the activities will be hosted across various youth centers, including prominent locations like Hawally, Qadsiya, and Jahra.

Additionally, the Handicrafts Center, the Academies of Voluntary Work, and Arts and Media will contribute to the program’s richness.

Al-Ansari highlighted the program’s comprehensive nature, encompassing a wide array of activities. Participants can expect to engage in sports, including martial arts and badl, while exploring creative outlets through pottery, ceramic model making, and traditional sadu weaving. Religious activities will also be offered at several youth centers.

The popular “Hobbies” project is set to return with a new season, providing specialized courses in various domains such as drawing, photography, cooking, and fashion design.

To foster leadership and civic engagement, the “Future Leaders” and “Youth Nation” programs will be conducted.

The Academies of Arts and Media and Voluntary Work will offer specialized training and activities to empower youth and help them discover their passions.

Furthermore, a new summer club designed for children aged 6 to 12 will be introduced,focusing on skill development and overall growth.
