Outgoing Ambassador of France hosts ‘Women’s Diwaniya’
The Embassy of the French Republic in the State of Kuwait organized a ‘Women’s Diwaniya’ to mark the end of tenure of Her Excellency the French Ambassador Anne Claire Le Flécher.
The ‘Women’s Diwaniya’ was attended by distinguished guests, women in leadership roles from key industries and services. The event reinforced cultural and social relations between France and Kuwait, and reaffirmed the strength and significance women bring to the table.
The Diwaniya was hosted at the residence of the ambassador and attended by leading women from various sections including politics, economy, education, health, media, and the arts. The event provided a relaxed platform for fruitful dialogue, where ideas and insights were exchanged on a range of trending issues.
H.E. Anne Claire Le Flécher, Ambassador of France to Kuwait, declared the Women’s Diwaniya initiative super successful, noting that it built mutual understanding and boosted ties between people.
The diwaniya was well received by the attendees, and much appreciated especially as it went a long way in promoting the exchange of constructive ideas.
