Operations at Kuwait commercial ports normal, supply chains uninterrupted, says KPA

The Kuwait Ports Authority has confirmed that maritime traffic across the country’s commercial ports continues to operate normally, with ships entering and departing on schedule and the handling and delivery of goods, food supplies, and consumer products proceed without disruption.

In a statement, the Authority affirmed that its Standing Committee for Emergency, Disaster and Crisis Response remains in continuous session amid the current regional developments.

The committee is closely monitoring the situation to ensure operational stability and maintain the smooth flow of maritime activities, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Authority added that ongoing coordination and communication are being maintained with security agencies, the General Administration of Customs, and other relevant bodies to safeguard supply chains and guarantee the uninterrupted movement of shipments through Kuwait’s commercial ports.

These measures, it noted, aim to reinforce readiness and ensure the continued availability of essential goods while maintaining normal port operations under all circumstances.
