The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced it will release its latest forecasts on developments in the global oil market next week.
According to an official statement, the organization will present its annual flagship report, “World Oil Outlook 2025,” during a special session held as part of an international symposium scheduled for July 9–10 at the historic Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The event will feature an opening address by OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais, followed by a panel discussion including directors and analysts from the OPEC Secretariat’s Research Department, who will highlight the report’s main findings.
First launched in 2007, the World Oil Outlook has become one of OPEC’s most prominent publications. It offers a detailed analysis of the global oil and energy landscape, with medium- and long-term scenarios for industry development.
The report explores critical issues such as oil supply and demand trends, investment prospects, global policy impacts, and sustainability goals. It also examines the challenges and opportunities facing the global energy sector, with particular focus on the role of oil amid evolving market dynamics and climate considerations.
