One injured in hotel fire in Hawalli

The Kuwait Fire Force announced that firefighting teams from the Hawalli and Salmiya fire stations brought a hotel fire under control today afternoon in the Hawalli area.

The Fire Department explained upon receiving the emergency report, teams dispatched to the scene contained the blaze before it could spread to other parts of the building, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The statement said that one person was injured and that he was handed over to the Emergency Medical Services personnel.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
