Officer arrested for allegedly growing drugs at residence
A search of the residence revealed marijuana plants and additional bags ready for use, and the officer was taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
The General Department for Drug Control arrested an officer in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate for allegedly planting and using narcotics, following a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, a security source told Al-Rai newspaper.
The source added that a search of the residence uncovered marijuana plants and additional bags prepared for use. The officer was taken into custody and referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
