The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) has announced the tuition fees for non-Kuwaiti students who wish to study at its colleges.
Informed sources revealed to Q8-Press that the fees will be charged on a “self-sponsored” basis, meaning that students will be responsible for paying their own tuition.
The total cost of a bachelor’s degree program at the College of Basic Education is 10,400 dinars, for a total of 130 credit hours.
The total cost of a diploma program at the College of Business Studies is 5,440 dinars, for a total of 68 credit hours.
The total cost of a diploma program at the College of Health Sciences is 6,800 dinars, for a total of 68 credit hours.
The total cost of a bachelor’s degree program at the College of Health Sciences is 13,100 dinars, for a total of 131 credit hours.
The total cost of a diploma program at the College of Technology is 8,700 dinars, for a total of 87 credit hours.
The total cost of a bachelor’s degree program at the College of Technology is 13,200 dinars, for a total of 132 credit hours.
The total cost of a completion program at the College of Technology is 6,900 dinars, for a total of 69 credit hours.
The total cost of a diploma program at the College of Nursing is 7,700 dinars, for a total of 77 credit hours.
The total cost of a Bachelor of Nursing program is 12,100 dinars, for a total of 121 credit hours.
The total cost of a Bachelor of Nursing Education program is 13,600 dinars, for a total of 136 credit hours.
The total cost of a completion program at the College of Nursing is 6,100 dinars, for a total of 61 credit hours.
Students who achieve a GPA of 3.80 or higher in this system will be eligible for a 50% discount on their tuition fees for the following semester. To be eligible for the discount, students must submit a written request.
It is important to note that non-Kuwaiti students are not eligible for the same scholarships and grants as Kuwaiti students. However, they may be eligible for a social allowance under certain conditions.
Each applicant is given one opportunity to be accepted into the PAAET under this system. Students are not allowed to apply for admission under this system for programs that are only open to Kuwaitis.
