Indian Ambassador offers condolences
Well known Indian photographer Gafoor Moodadi who was working with Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR) passed away in the early hours today morning in his home town in Kerala.
Gafoor who was on vacation to attend his daughters wedding scheduled for July 22 was also being treated for a minor ailment when he passed away due to cardiac arrest.
Gafoor spent more than 25 years as a photographer in Kuwait and began his early career at The Times Kuwait, where he was one of the first photographers to work for the publication. Over the years he has captured many important events especially for the Indian community and embassy.
Indian ambassador H E Sibi George expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in a message stating that the Indian community has lost a dear member.
Gafoor also freelanced with popular vernacular Indian newspaper Malayalam Manorama.
