Some 29 public clinics will remain open overnight across Kuwait in order to respond to any possible emergencies due to the expected unstable weather conditions and rain, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

These include Ali Mohammed Thunayan Al-Ghanim Health Centre in Daiyah, Ahqaqi Health Centre in Sulaibikhat, Al-Sagar Specialized Health Centre in Adailiyah, West Salmiya Clinic, Salwa Clinic, Rumaithiyah Clinic, Salam Clinic in South Surra. South Sabah Al-Salem Clinic, Abdullah Al-Mubarak Clinic, South Firdous Clinic, Rabiyah Clinic, Andalus Clinic, West Farwaniyah Clinic, Saad Al-Abdallah (in block 2), Jahra Clinic,

Al-Qasr Clinic, Abdali Clinic. Rigga Clinic, Bnaider Clinic, East Sabahiya, Fahaheel Specialized Centre, Ali Sabah Al-Salem Clinic, Wafra, Sabah Al-Ahmad (1), Khairan, Fahad Al-Ahmad and Adan Specialized Centre.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Red Crescent (KRCS) said it has readied response efforts across the country for possible emergencies in collaboration with the Civil Defence Committee, including logistical capabilities and water vacuum cleaner equipment. In earlier discussions, KRCS chairman Hilal Al-Sayer said the two bodies reviewed different scenarios that may arise during the expected rainfall.
