The new National Assembly Members Dr. Bader Al-Mulla and Abdullah Al-Kanderi were sworn in during a regular session Tuesday, after their win of recently held by-elections. The by-elections resulted in Al-Mulla and Al-Kanderi winning in the 2nd and 3rd Constituencies.
Both took the two vacant seats that were previously occupied by Waleed Al-Tabtabae and Jamaan Al-Herbesh before.
Al-Mulla, born in 1971, holds a PhD in civil law, and is a lawyer before the Court of Cassation and Constitutional Court. He is a professor of civil law at Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences and a lecturer at Kuwait University.

Born in 1971, Al-Kanderi has a Master’s degree in law from Kuwait University. He is a lawyer before the Court of Cassation and Constitutional Court, and is a member of the Brussels-based International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), among other posts.
