MP Mohammad Hayef

MP Mohammad Hayef claimed on Tuesday that there are “flagrant irregularities and big oppressions” in recruitment procedures at the Fatwa and Legislation Department.

Speaking at a National Assembly session on a grilling motion by him and MP Mohammad Al- Mutair against Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, he billed recruitment procedures as a “destruction and usurpation of efficient youth’s rights”.

Hayef also lashed out at what he described as a “violation of the rights of efficient people due to exceptions and favoritism”, emphasizing that recruitment policies should be based on efficiency, rather than “bargaining”.

He further accused all state agencies for which the cabinet minister is responsible, of shrugging off the remarks voiced by the State Audit Bureau, and even failing to reply to relevant parliament queries.
