Last Wednesday a Kuwaiti student was pronounced dead while three others were injured in an accident of an unspecified nature occurring in Los Angeles City, California, said a statement by a diplomatic source Friday.
In the statement, on obtained by KUNA, General Consul Faisal AlHouli said that they were following up on this tragic incident, trying to determine what had occurred.
According to instructions by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak AlHamad AlSabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah AlKhaled AlAhmad AlSabah, two diplomats from the consulate were assigned to look into the matter, making sure that the injured received topnotch treatment and that the body of the deceased be returned to Kuwait safely. AlHouli affirmed that the consulate would remain in contact with the diplomats.
