First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah AlAhmad AlSabah on Tuesday discussed in a meeting with French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Barley important issues within military. Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said in a press statement that the two sides discussed issues of common interest, particularly in the military field.
The French Minister invited the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense to visit France. Kuwait’s Chief of General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Mohammed AlKhader, Ministry of Defense Undersecretary Sheikh Ahmad Mansour AlAhmad AlSabah, Deputy Chief of Staff General Abdullah AlNawaf AlSabah, France’s Ambassador to Kuwait Marie Masdupuy, Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff LieutenantGeneral Mohammed AlKhader and other French army chiefs attended the meeting. Barley left the country on Sunday afternoon.
