The Guest Show on Radio Kuwait at 10am and 10pm on 93.3 FM, 963AM will be having special guest HE Alina L Romanowski, Ambassador of the United States to Kuwait, on its special Eid edition, this Thursday.
A career member of the Senior Executive Service, Ambassador Romanowski is a trailblazer who has served her nation in senior intelligence, security and policy-shaping roles for four decades. Before she was appointed Ambassador, Ambassador Romanowski was the Department of State’s Principal Deputy Coordinator for Counterterrorism (2016-2020). An expert on the Middle East, she has kickstarted several organizations such as the MEPI with far-reaching impact on the region. A firm supporter of gender equality and women’s empowerment, Ambassador Romanowski has actively mentored women in the national security apparatus of her country.
She has received multiple awards including Presidential Distinguished Rank Award for Senior Executive Service. Here on The Guest Show, she speaks to Chaitali B Roy of her journey, her work in various government agencies including the CIA, and the DOD, her firm belief in the importance of education and mentoring of women, the importance of family in a woman’s success, her interest in the Middle East, and the bilateral ties between Kuwait and the US.
