The Civil Service Commission said government employees who wishing to join the Kuwait University must get its approval.
A local Arabic daily quoting CSC sources indicated that the regulations for scholarships and study leave must be issued by the CSC by those on full-time study or those on scholarships or those who have obtained a study leave. Any employee who studies in an educational institution on part-time basis is considered a violation of the regulations.
The sources stated that the approval letter from the CSC must be submitted every year by employees who wishing to complete their university studies, whether at the Kuwait University or any other educational institution locally or abroad.
