Ministry of Interior (MOI) undersecretary for residency affairs Maj. General Talal Maarafi authorized the residency department in all governorates to grant visit visas for expats based on their income earned and check if they are fully capable of sponsoring a visitors’ stay. Visit visas now will be granted from 1 month to 3 months based on salary earned by the applicant.
Family visit visas will be limited to 1 month. Tourist visit visas are valid for 3 months which are normally given to Europeans and resident expats’ wives and families.
