Sources at the traffic department has announced that driving licenses will be issued to housewives only if they are on a dependent visa and have children, and their husbands’ salary is KD600 and above. Moreover, their husbands should have the designations of advisors, experts, general managers, doctors, pharmacists and member of universities and institutions, reports local media.
As per tjhe latest ministerial decision, engineers are not an exempted profession hence wives of engineers can not get a driving license.
