The Civil Service Commission has suspended the attendance fingerprint system for government employees as a precautionary measure and to avoid the spread of Corona virus.
The CSC said in a circular the attendance will be marked by the hours the employee puts, without giving details how this will be done, reports Al-Qabas daily.
This comes as the Cabinet issued a series of decisions today, including reducing working hours for government sector employees to 50 percent.
