Today, the Constitutional Court took a significant decision by rejecting all appeals filed against the 2023 Parliament and affirming the legitimacy of the June 6 elections.

During the session on Wednesday, the court, under the chairmanship of Counselor Fouad Al-Zuwaid, ruled on nine electoral appeals related to the National Assembly elections. The court’s decision effectively safeguarded the Parliament for the year 2023, nullifying any potential challenges to its formation, reports Al-Anba daily.

By rejecting the appeals, the Constitutional Court upheld the integrity of the electoral process and the constitutional validity of the decrees related to the elections.

Additionally, the court dismissed appeals submitted by candidates contesting the announced election results, confirming the legitimacy of all outcomes, including the victory of the 50 deputies who secured their parliamentary seats.

This ruling establishes the credibility and fairness of the electoral process and affirms the democratic representation in the country’s Parliament.
