New structure for Information Ministry unveiled with four key sectors

Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi has approved the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Information.

The first article stipulates that the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Information will consist of four sectors — the Minister’s Sector, the Undersecretary’s Sector, the Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs Sector, and the Radio and Television Sector.

The sector divisions are as follows — the Minister’s sector, which includes several organizational units and the Undersecretary Sector, which includes several organizational units and two main sectors.

The main sectors are the Radio and Television Sector headed by Assistant Undersecretary Turki Abdullah Al-Mutairi, and is subject to several organizational units, including 3 general departments — the General Department of Radio, the General Department of Television, and the General Department of News.

The Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs Sector is headed by Assistant Undersecretary Salem Fahd Al-Watian, and is subordinate to several organizational units, including 4 general departments which are the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, the General Department of Media Regulation, the General Department of Support Services, and the General Department of International Media.
