New passport fees, 13 dinars for 5 years, 16 for 10 years

The Official Gazette published Ministerial Resolution No. 180 of 2025, introducing new fees and modifying existing charges for various transactions handled by the General Administration of Nationality and Travel Documents in Kuwait.

The resolution mandated the addition of two new clauses, numbered “8” and “9,” to Article One of Ministerial Resolution No. 1971/20, with the following provisions:

• Issuance or renewal of an immediate passport at the airport for a period of five years: 13 dinars.
• Issuance or renewal of an immediate passport at the airport for a period of ten years: 16 dinars.

The resolution also stated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry shall implement this decision, which will take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
