New cabinet ministers to be sworn in tomorrow

The possibility of additional ministerial appointments in the future has been indicated

Kuwait’s newly appointed ministers are set to be sworn in tomorrow, Monday, a government source has revealed to Al-Qabas newspaper.

The source also confirmed that the new ministers will attend their first cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

The possibility of further ministerial appointments in the future has not been ruled out, according to the source.

Today, an Amiri decree was issued appointing the following individuals to their respective ministerial positions:

  1. Khalifa Al-Askar as Minister of Commerce and Industry.
  2. Abdullatif Al-Mashari as Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing.
  3. Dr. Nader Al-Jalal as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Acting Minister of Education.
  4. Noura Al-Fasam as Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.
