Netherlands Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

I have the pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. These two anniversaries mark defining moments in the nation’s history and stand as enduring symbols of sovereignty, resilience, and unity.

During the short time I have spent in Kuwait, I have witnessed firsthand the deep pride Kuwaitis hold for their country and their leadership. This sentiment is vibrantly reflected in the festive decorations across the nation, with the national flag displayed with honor and buildings illuminated in its colors. The atmosphere of celebration strongly reminds me of the joyful spirit surrounding King’s Day in the Netherlands.

As I begin my mission in Kuwait, I look forward to building upon the already strong and flourishing relations between our two countries. My aim is to deepen existing avenues of cooperation while also opening new ones, strengthening the bond between our peoples and advancing a fresh chapter of friendship grounded in mutual respect and shared aspirations.
