NEST inks cooperation agreement with Gulfsat

The National International Educational Services and Training Company (NEST), a subsidiary of the National Technology Enterprise Company (NTEC), announced the signing of a joint cooperation agreement with Gulfsat Communications Company, a subsidiary of the KIPCO Group.

The company explained in a press statement that the agreement aims to provide virtual reality and extended reality (AR/VR) experiences to customers in Kuwait and the region, which include educational institutions and the business sector in Kuwait, which would help enhance education and training, reports Al-Anba daily.

NEST and Gulfsat will also work side by side through the cooperation agreement to provide virtual reality and extended reality (AR/VR) experiences supported by artificial intelligence (AI) to customers in the region.

NEST is considered an exclusive partner in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf region for Aeon Reality. Aeon Reality is an American company headquartered in Irvine – California, and specializes in providing augmented reality and virtual reality experiences supported by artificial intelligence for both educational institutions and the business sector.

Under this agreement, the two parties have identified various cooperation opportunities to work together and benefit from their respective strengths to provide exceptional solutions to customers in the State of Kuwait, the GCC region and beyond.

This cooperation will combine the extensive and focused experience of the National International Company for Educational and Training Services in the field of education and training, the regional presence of Gulfsat, and the commercial partnerships it has with many customers, allowing the provision of high-quality services to meet the increasing requirements of customers.

In this context, the NEST Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tariq Al-Aoun, said the company focuses on disseminating knowledge and technology in Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, especially those technologies related to education.

He added: “One of our important aspirations is to cooperate and unify efforts with local partners such as GulfSat in order to accelerate the deployment of technology.”

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulfsat Company, Mahmoud Al-Sanea, said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the National Technology Enterprise Company (NTEC) through its subsidiary, the National International Education and Training Company, to provide Virtual reality and extended reality experiences supported by artificial intelligence to customers in the countries of Kuwait and the GCC region.

He added: “This strategic cooperation combines the regional experience and capabilities of Gulfsat with the extensive experience of the National International Company for Education and Training, which allows Gulfsat to provide comprehensive and reliable services to meet the growing needs of companies in the region.”

Both the National International Education and Training Company and Gulfsat are committed to providing exceptional augmented reality and virtual reality experiences supported by artificial intelligence, and this cooperation agreement represents an important step towards achieving this goal.
