Nazaha refers two senior officers to Public Prosecution
. . . over false financial disclosures

The Public Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred two senior officers and others to the Public Prosecution for allegedly submitting incorrect financial disclosure statements. The action was taken under Law No. 2 of 2016, governing Nazaha, and its amendments under Decree-Law No. 69 of 2025.
In a statement, Nazaha explained that its initial review of submitted financial disclosures, alongside inquiries with relevant authorities, revealed that the information provided by these individuals was inaccurate. As a result, the matter has been escalated to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
The Authority emphasized that all individuals subject to financial disclosure laws must submit accurate statements within the legally mandated deadlines. This requirement is both a legal and ethical obligation, designed to protect public funds, uphold transparency and integrity, and strengthen public confidence in government institutions.
