Nazaha refers PADA officials to Prosecution in forgery and public funds case

The Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) announced it has referred two supervisors and another individual working at the Public Authority for Disability Affairs (PADA) to the Public Prosecution over suspected financial and administrative violations.

In a press statement issued Thursday, Nazaha said the referral is linked to suspicions of embezzlement of public funds, facilitating embezzlement, and forgery in official documents.

The authority affirmed its continued commitment to examining serious reports, gathering evidence, and pursuing investigations into corruption-related information it receives, reports Al-Rai daily.

Nazaha also praised the role of whistleblowers in helping uncover cases, stressing that they are granted full legal protection and confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
