Nazaha refers MPW officials to Prosecution over alleged embezzlement

The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) announced that it has referred a supervisor and several officials from the Ministry of Public Works to the Public Prosecution for alleged forgery, embezzlement, and facilitating the embezzlement of public funds.
Nazaha emphasized it is committed to thoroughly examine and collect evidence related to all credible reports of serious misconduct. The authority reaffirmed its dedication to pursuing investigations into corruption cases in line with the law.
The Integrity Commission highlighted the vital role of whistleblowers in providing information that enables authorities to detect and address corruption, refers Al-Jarida daily.
At the same time, Nazaha stressed its responsibility to ensure that whistleblowers receive the highest levels of protection and confidentiality as mandated by law and executive regulations.
The referral underlines the government’s continued efforts to uphold transparency and accountability in public sector operations, signaling zero tolerance for misuse of public resources.
