Nationality withdrawal will not affect jobs or salaries of Kuwaiti wives, divorcees, and widows

The Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, H.E. Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, as well as Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Realization of Kuwaiti Citizenship, affirmed that individuals whose Kuwaiti nationality has been withdrawn under Article 8 of the Nationality Law; specifically wives, divorcees, and widows of Kuwaitis residing in Kuwait, will retain their jobs and continue receiving their salaries.

Additionally, H.E. Al-Yousef confirmed that retired individuals in this category will still be paid their pensions.
