National Guard releases detained personnel ahead of Ramadan

The Undersecretary of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Barjas, has issued a decision to release military personnel who were previously detained on disciplinary charges, allowing them to spend the upcoming holy month of Ramadan with their families.

In a statement on Tuesday, the National Guard confirmed that the decision was made in line with the directives of National Guard Chief Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his deputy, Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, reports Al-Rai daily.

The release reflects the leadership’s commitment to fostering goodwill and allowing personnel to observe the holy month in a family setting.
