National Guard Chief praises critical role of Chemical and Radiological Monitoring Center

Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chief of the National Guard, paid a visit to the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring Center, during which he was briefed on the center’s missions, operational capabilities, and advanced monitoring and disinfection equipment.

Sheikh Mubarak commended the center for its critical role in supporting state institutions tasked with environmental protection, pollution monitoring, and combating radioactive threats. He described the center as Kuwait’s “first line of detection” due to its cutting-edge systems and highly skilled personnel, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Highlighting the National Guard’s strategic role, he affirmed its commitment to aiding all state agencies in safeguarding national security. He emphasized the importance of staying abreast of technological advancements and continuing to develop and train staff through specialized programs.

The efforts align with the vision and directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
