National Guard celebrates graduation of new officers at Al-Sumoud Camp

Today, the National Guard celebrated the graduation of a course for medical officer students, assistant medical officers, medical engineering officers, field officers with university degrees, graduates of the King Khalid Military College, and a course for agents nominated for the rank of lieutenant.

The National Guard said in a press release that the ceremony was held in the Martyrs’ Hall at Al-Sumoud Camp under the patronage of the National Guard Chief, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud, and in the presence of the Undersecretary of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Engineer Hashem Al-Rifai.
The new officers took the oath, pledging to defend the homeland and sacrifice their lives and possessions, reports Al-Rai daily.

Lieutenant General Al-Rifai conveyed the congratulations of National Guard Chief Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud and Deputy National Guard Chief Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf to the graduates, expressing his happiness at the new group of officers joining the Guard to support their brothers in arms.

He stressed that loyalty and belonging to one’s homeland are the most precious things a person possesses, adding, “Our goal is to defend this precious land and achieve security and safety for its citizens under the wise leadership.”

For his part, the Commander of the National Guard Forces Training Institute, Brigadier General Khaled Manour, confirmed, according to the statement, the implementation of the National Guard Command’s directives to translate the objectives of the 2030 Strategic Plan (Protecting the Nation) by advancing in various military, administrative and technical fields and qualifying cadres scientifically and militarily to carry out their duties with full efficiency and competence.

He urged the new graduates to learn from their predecessors and to comply with the orders and instructions issued by their superiors, emphasizing their commitment to the principles and values of our true religion.
