Thailand-based Precious Shipping said on Friday that human remains were found inside the damaged section of the Mayuri Nari vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, which was attacked last month amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Thai authorities reported that the Royal Navy of Oman rescued 20 crew members, while three others remain missing after an explosion at the stern of the ship triggered a fire in the engine room, reports Al-Rai.
The company added that it has not yet been able to determine the identity or number of individuals to whom the remains belong.
