Municipality wraps up fourth round of safety inspections

. . . 85 warnings, 7 violations issued for construction safety breaches

The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced the conclusion of the fourth inspection campaign conducted by safety supervisory teams across all six governorates.

These inspections, according to Al-Jarida daily, focused on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and to detect violations related to building and renovation works.

In Hawalli, the Safety Department’s oversight team issued one violation and 68 warnings during their fourth field campaign, targeting construction sites that failed to meet safety standards.

Engineer Bader Al-Jabri, Director of the Safety Department in Hawalli, stressed that the goal is to strictly monitor non-compliant sites and take legal action when necessary, reaffirming a zero-tolerance policy for violations.

Across all governorates during the four rounds of inspections, the authorities issued a total of 85 warnings and seven violations. This included 14 warnings in Jahra, six violations in Ahmadi, three warnings in Farwaniya, and 68 warnings in Hawalli.
