Municipality removes 21 motorcycles, illegal food trucks in major clean-up drive in Jahra

The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality has announced a series of intensive field achievements by the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department at the Jahra Governorate branch, aimed at preserving the aesthetic view and eliminating visual distortions across all areas of the governorate.
Nawaf Al-Mutairi, Director of the Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department in Jahra, said during an intensive field sweep resulted in the removal of 21 motorcycles for violating Municipality regulations. He added that two food trucks and a diesel engine were also removed from the Al-Subbiya area, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Al-Mutairi noted that the operations were carried out in close cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, ensuring smooth execution and enforcement of municipal laws. He stressed that the campaigns target all forms of encroachment on public roads, unlicensed activities, and sources of visual pollution.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these field campaigns across Jahra to enhance cleanliness, restore order, and improve the quality of life for residents, warning that no leniency will be shown toward violators.
